I am an NNEB nursery nurse working in the south of England, where I believe the cost of living is considerably higher than in Kirklees (News, 10 April). I have six years' experience and currently hold a supervisory position within a nursery on an annual salary of less than Pounds 9,200. So, although I agree we are worth more, I feel 14,000 is a very good salary compared with mine.
