The Age Positive Award for Greater Glasgow

* An East Renfrewshire out-of-school childcare provider has won the Age Positive Award for Greater Glasgow in recognition of the positive example it sets of a successful business with a varied age range of workers. Staff aged from 17 to 68 care for children aged from four to 16 at Mearns After School Care Service (MACS). The awarding judges were impressed that many MACS workers in their fifties and sixties have taken qualifications for the first time since leaving school.
