(Photograph) - The work of contemporary Japanese book illustrators can be seen on tour as part of the Japan 2001 Festival. The exhibition, 'Through Eastern Eyes', organised by the National Centre for Research in Children's Literature at the University of Surrey, Roehampton, is at the Royal National Theatre in London until 18 August, then moves to the Centre for the Children's Book in Newcastle from 29 September.
