Thalidomide, one of the most notorious drugs in recent history, is 50 years old this year. Although it was withdrawn in Britain in 1961, its legacy lives on in the form of the 455 people born as Thalidomide babies. One of them, actor and presenter Mat Fraser, here looks at the drug's history, and visits Brazil to learn why it is still being prescribed there to this day.
