The Bunnykins Business (BBC Radio 4, 3.30 to 4pm)

Bunnykins children's tableware was invented in the 1930s by Sister Barbara Vernon as a favour for her father, the managing director of Royal Doulton.

Her designs, which show scenes of everyday life such as playing see-saw, have seen Bunnykins become an icon for some adults, as to them it embodies a nostalgic view of childhood. The programme includes an interview with Sister Barbara, who died a few weeks ago.

Australia's best-known poet, Les Murray, takes listeners on a tour of his home ground, Bunyah, a small township in New South Wales. He tells how words have been his obsession since he first spelled out 'G-o-l-d-e-n S-y-r-u-p' on a tin and his wife, Valerie, reflects on the difficulties of their early courtship and the impact their autistic son has had on their lives.
