Towards a diverse workforce

For the third year, the Children's Workforce Development Council (CWDC)is providing funds to encourage different occupations and sectors totrain and work together.

The Occupational Group Funding will give support to occupational groupsthat fall within the CWDC 'footprint' to develop new training, as wellas other activities that can drive an integrated approach to workforcedevelopment.

This year the fund will prioritise bids that encourage a more diverseworkforce, activities that specifically address the inclusion ofdisadvantaged groups, and activities that help to foster a betterunderstanding of CWDC and its products.

Bids are available to a maximum of 50,000 for a project, to becompleted by 31 March next year, and need to be tendered by 30 May2008.
