It was these simple, effective policies that helped her win the Playworker of the Year title in last year's Excellence in Childcare Awards run by Kids' Clubs Network with Nursery World and Prima magazine, supported by the Department for Education and Skills. This year the National Childminding Association and National Day Nurseries Association are also supporting the awards.
