At Child First Solihull in the West Midlands (pictured top) dads were invited to a special Father’s Day breakfast of bacon and sausage sandwiches and croissants, while Little Acorns Day Nursery in Urmston, Manchester (bottom) invited fathers to the setting to play with the children.
Pre-school children at Little Rascals Aldridge in the West Midlands (below) and their fathers, grandfathers, brothers and sisters enjoyed building dens. After all their hard work, children and their families sat down for a cup of hot chocolate.
Priory Street Nursery in York (below) got involved in Father’s Story Week, which coincided with Father’s Day. To help make dads, granddads and male carers feel more comfortable they gave the week a building theme. As well as sharing stories and rhymes, the children and their dads and granddads built planters and dens with boxes outside.
