Tops Winchester and The Rocking Horse Nursery in London both marked National Storytelling Week.
Tops were visited by local author Rita Pooles, who shared one of her Princess Iwant… stories, sparking lively discussions with the children. At The Rocking Horse Nursery, parents came into the setting to share their favourite stories and a group of children visited a local care home, where a resident, an ex-teacher, read We’re Going on a Bear Huntby Michael Rosen.
