Story time for Storytelling Week

Little Acorns Day Nursery in Gomersal engaged in literary activities for National Storytelling Week.
The children were able to learn about authors and illustrators while being told stories by their practitioners. The children then turned their hand to writing and illustrating their own book about their adventures in the snow. Pre-school leader Yvonne Shaw said, 'Books play a huge part in everything we do in nursery. We use them to support learning and share knowledge with the children. We also read to them in small groups to nurture our key person relationships.'
