Nominations for the 2004 Childcare Student of the Year competition must be made by 22 March. The award, which was established by publisher Heinemann Educational in 1999 and has been re-launched this year in partnership with Nursery World, is open to students at all colleges in the UK offering part-time or full-time courses in early years care. Forms for nominations may be downloaded from www.heinemann.co.uk/vocational.
