Carer of the Year
* A nursery manager from Liverpool has been named Carer of the Year by the National Day Nurseries Association. Carole McDonald, 26, was nominated by the mother of a child she cares for at Rockbourne Avenue nursery in Gateacre, who said Carole had been 'incredibly supportive', ensuring all staff had the necessary training to care for her son, who suffers from epilepsy and food allergies.
