Case Study - Level 3

Rabbi Miri Lawrence, who is director of the Early Childhood Centre at the West London Synagogue, decided to undertake an APEL award to consolidate her 20 years of experience in childcare. 'The APEL was ideal because it caters for people like me with many years' experience and training, while also focusing on managing an early childhood centre,' she says. Ms Lawrence started the award in August of this year and completed it two months later. 'I found the child protection component particularly helpful,' she says. 'So many new developments have been made in this area and it helped me to work with my staff to ensure that we are informed and up to date.
