Details; How it os made and what it can do
There are six puppets in this Emotions set, all made from sewn fabric with stuffed legs and fake fur hairdos. The emotions represented - happy, sad, angry, surprised, frightened and upset - are printed on the back of each puppet. The glove section, which includes the head, is meant to fit a child's hand, but it is also quite comfortable for a small to medium adult hand. From head to toe, the puppets measure 36cm.
Verdict; Our tester's report on the product in action
Roseanna Stokes, a nursery teacher working in London, says, 'I found the puppets rather flimsy and I don't think they would last long with constant handling. The children recognise the facial expressions, but the faces do seem rather characterless. I imagine that the puppets are supposed to be one person, but the fact that they are wearing different clothes is confusing. However, the children like copying the expressions and the puppets were nice to use with a story.'
