Moody Bear is a three-piece wooden puzzle - head, body and legs - that fits into the lid of the neat wooden box containing all the alternative pieces. You can dress Moody in a variety of outfits such as shirt, tie and formal trousers; or sunsuit and sneakers. You can also vary his expression by swapping his six different faces around. He can be happy, laughing, cross, frightened, miserable or upset.

Lucia Kelly, a nursery nurse working with a class of three-and four-year-olds in a London primary school, says, 'The children are really happy playing with this puzzle, because it's so easy for them to do. I think that they take extra care of it because it's a teddy bear. They do discuss the facial expressions, but they're more interested in changing the clothes about. The box is very useful for storing the pieces, and it's nice that it's made of wood. As well as being stronger, wood is so much more appealing than cardboard.'
