Glasgow City Council

Glasgow City Council is encouraging children of all ages to take part in activities from storytelling to skating, and arts and crafts to athletics on Glasgow Green to celebrate National Playday on 6 August. The free programme of activities is open to families, children, summer clubs and playschemes from 11am to 4pm - contact 0141 287 5987 for more information. More than 100,000 children are expected to take part in events across the UK to celebrate National Playday, co-ordinated by the Children's Society and the Children's Play Council.
