The Children's Workforce Development Council has named two new board members, Helga Pile, senior research and policy officer at the trade union GMB, and Nigel Carruthers, head of skills and development for the Employers' Organisation for Local Government. CWDC chief executive Jane Haywood said, 'We have an experienced and multi-skilled board in place to strengthen excellence in the children's workforce.'
