The Magic Bed (see page 7 for story outline); equipment for making 'magic'
beds, such as cardboard boxes, carpet samples, pieces of fabric, milk crates and cushions
Activity content
* Read the story to the children, and discuss what it might be like to own a magic bed and places that they might want to visit. Be open to all suggestions and value all contributions equally. Some children may want to visit places near their home or from the book, while others may invent places of their own.
