Graduation day
Nurseries across the country have said goodbye to pre-school children who will be starting school in September.
It was the first graduation ever at Little Lingfields Nursery in Darlington and Little Angels in Calne, where staff and children said an emotional farewell to the graduates.
At Kiddiwinks Child Care in Working and the Eureka! Nursery in Halifax, children wore gowns and mortarboards to receive their certificates, while Hatton Day Nursery in Windlesham and Little Acorns in Rothwell held a big party to mark the children's transition.
Pirates
Children who attend Children 1st at Breedon House in Sheffield learned what it was like to be a pirate for a day when they made pirate costumes and a pirate ship.
