Healthy choices
Townsend Montessori, which runs five nurseries in Kent, has teamed upwith caterer Healthy Roots to provide nutritious meals at its settingsin Ramsgate and Whitstable. In March, nursery group Kid Ease, which hasfive settings in Kent, Essex and Norfolk, bought a share in HealthyRoots Catering to help improve the choice of sourcing ingredients formeals.

Children from Dolphin Nursery in Kingston Upon Thames attended a 'ThumbsUp, It's Friday' event at the Kingston Memorial Gardens, where they tookpart in a fancy dress competition with the theme of myths and mysteries,enjoyed a picnic and listened to livemusic.
Save the bees
Children from Busy Bees nurseries joined TV wildlife presenter TerryNutkins to celebrate Busy Bees' involvement in the British Beekeepers'Association's 'Adopt a Beehive' campaign. The nursery chain issponsoring the BBKA's 4,000th beehive to help fund research into honeybee health and education programmes for beekeepers.
