- Toddle Waddle

Children from settings across the country have been taking part in theBarnardos Big Toddle to raise money for the children's charity. Staff,children and parents from TLC Day Nursery in Milton Keynes raised 120, Amberley Nursery in Bexhill-on-Sea, East Sussex raised 200,and Little Acorns in Mirfield raised 78.

Children at Busy Bears Nursery in Durham, Broadwas Bumble BeesPre-School in Worcester, Alphabet House Day Nursery in Lowdham,Nottingham, and Lordswood Children's Centre in Chatham, Kent, dressed infancy dress for the toddle, while Alphabet House Day Nursery in Beeston,Nottingham, combined theirs with the nursery's sports day.

- Record Breakers

There was a buzz around the country as children and staff from Busy Beesnurseries attempted a Guinness World Record first for being the largestnumber of people dressed as bumble bees. Some of the nurseries madetheir own costumes, while others painted children's faces and madehealthy bee-shaped snacks. The record attempt is one of a number oflively events throughout the nursery group this month as part of theGovernment's Change4life campaign to encourage a healthy lifestyle.
