Lucky 13th Nursery

The Old Station Nursery has had its 13th nursery opened in the LAFitness gym at Waterside South, Lincoln, by local MP Gillian Merron. OldStation managing director Sarah Steel said, 'LA Fitness approached us asthey wanted a professional childcare company to take over the running ofthe childcare facility, turning the building into a full day carenursery for children aged nought to five.' Children will be encouragedto eat healthy meals and take part in French classes and musicsessions.

Outstanding in all

St Peter's nursery in Halstead, Essex, was awarded an outstanding gradein all areas in its Ofsted inspection in September. Inspectors commentedon the nursery's outstanding leadership and management, their stronglinks with the reception class at the school where the nursery is based,and their ability to introduce imaginative and adventurous play,focusing on the nursery's wood area.
