Early years staff and children from settings across the country dressedas ghosts, ghouls and goblins last month to have fun for Halloween.Children from Nursery on the Green in Frimley, Surrey, Sure StartChildren's Centre in Strood, Kent, Busy Bees Day Nursery in Colton Mill,West Yorkshire, Moggerhanger Pre-School in Sandy, Bedfordshire(pictured) Little Acorns in Boston, Lincolnshire, and All Saint'sChildren's Centre in Chatham, Kent (pictured), enjoyed themed activitiessuch as making scary treats and carving pumpkins.

Children at Wetherby Day Nursery in North Yorkshire love wearing theirnew waterproofs, which help to keep their clothes clean on theirfrequent jaunts outdoors. The outfits were purchased with funding fromNorth Yorkshire County Council to promote outdoor play experiences.
