- Musical Childminders

The theme for this year's National Childminding Week on 12-19 June was'Reaching the right notes', with childminders from all over the countrytaking part in singalongs. Wrexham Children Come First Childmindingnetwork joined in with the All Wales' Biggest Smallest Choir challenge.The event was held at the home of childminders Helen and Dean Wynne andattended by nine childminders and 18 children, as well as Janet Ryder,Welsh Assembly Member for North Wales, and her assistant Marc Jones.They began with 'Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star' and finished with theWelsh song 'Mr Hapus', when the children played musical instruments theyhad made specially for the event.
