*Sheet of coloured paper *camera *variety of everyday items featuring numbers such as: lottery tickets, phone numbers, barcodes, raffle tickets and timetables *pictures featuring number in the environment such as: front doors, letter boxes, clocks and road signs.

Step by step

* Stick your collection of number items and pictures on to the backing paper.

* Clearly label everything that is on the display.

Activities

* Discuss the display with the children.

* Explain what the items are, for example, that a timetable is useful when going on a bus or train journey.
