Position: Children's Centre Locality Co-ordinator for Dartford, Kent
- Why were you invited to the Community Champions reception at No. 10Downing Street?
My local MP, Howard Stoate, nominated my colleague and me in recognitionof establishing Dartford's children's centres. The evening reception isheld a couple of times a year for people who have done something specialfor their community.
- Did you get to meet the Prime Minister?
We had a photo taken with Gordon and Sarah Brown and discussed the workwe are doing with Sure Start. We only had about ten minutes with thePrime Minister but he seemed really passionate about Sure Start.
