Stability in centre daycare: Relations with children's well-being and problem behavior in daycare

A study in the Netherlands of the mothers and primary professional caregivers of 186 children, aged six to 30 months, in which a new measure for daily stability in centre daycare was developed, describing staffing, grouping, and programme features. Children enrolled in fewer care arrangements showed less internalising behavior and greater well-being in the daycare setting. Children had higher well-being scores when trusted caregivers were more available.
