The big picture: Full colour

Children from Eureka! Nursery in Halifax took part in a colourful
charity challenge to raise money for a local hospice.

The Colour Run took place in the nursery play area in the grounds of Eureka!, the National Children's Museum.

Forty-six children from the nursery and local area and 16 members of nursery staff took part in the run, getting covered in multi-coloured paint and raising more than £240 for Overgate Hospice.

Yvette Brown, Eureka! Nursery manager said, 'We love getting a bit messy at Eureka! Nursery and this is a brilliant way to raise cash for a local charity while exploring colours and being active. Overgate Hospice do an amazing job and we're really pleased to support them, especially if it gives us an excuse to run around and have fun.'
