LET'S GET A PUP!.

by Bob Graham.

(Walker Books, 10.99).

This author-illustrator can always be relied upon to come up with a fresh, contemporary and convincing angle on a popular theme, and to do it with humour.

Mum and dad are soppy about dogs. When they go to the rescue centre they have to make a heart-wrenching decision about which dog to take. They choose one, and when they get home can't stop thinking about another one they saw - so they go back for that too.
