CACHE's new Level 3 Certificate in Early Years Foundation Stage Practice integrates the basic principles of the EYFS and features a 'walk and talk'-based assessment in the setting. Candidates will also be required to submit a reflective task for each unit, which will enable them to develop the skill of reviewing their work on a daily basis. MENTORING TO WIN
The NDNA's Learning Mentors programme, developed in partnership with Allied Business Solutions, has been named as a winner in the National Training Awards 2007. Scooping first place in the Yorkshire and Humber regions, the programme was deemed to be effective in helping nurseries to create 'learning mentors', who oversee the delivery of training.
