There has rightly been a lot of emphasis on the Foundation Stage over the past year, but we are aware that many working in the daycare sector are desperate for more information on caring for babies and toddlers as demand grows for such services. This week's issue of Nursery World has plenty of help and advice. Our regular series on working with under-threes looks at good practice for arts and crafts, explaining why process is so much more important than product (pages 12-13). The children's books page is devoted to new publications for the youngest members of the nursery, with a delightful selection of board, flap and first word books (page 26).
