It's a frog's life in nursery pond

* On the last day of the summer term this month, the children from Angus College Nursery had an important job to do - they released the frogs and toads they had been caring for into the wildlife pond at the nearby Hope Trust gardens. Two months ago the nursery took charge of the spawn from the college's pond, which has had to be relocated to make way for a new nursery building and garden. The nursery's manager, Fern Wylie, was quick to point out that while you would not normally be allowed to take frogspawn from the wild, in this case it was taken to keep it safe and return it.
