Meatballs with tomato sauce

Ingredients: * 450g minced lamb * 1tsp tomato puree * 1 egg * 1 slice bread * a dash of Worcestershire sauce * 1 onion * 1tbsp plain flour * 1tbsp dried breadcrumbs * 1tbsp dried mixed herbs * salt and pepper to season Tomato sauce: *400g tin chopped tomatoes *1tbsp tomato puree *1 bunch fresh mixed herbs - parsley, thyme, mint, or coriander.

Children's age: 5 years upwards

Makes: 10-12 meatballs

Preparation time: 35 minutes

Cooking time: 25-30 minutes

T = together A = adult

A Preheat oven to 200xC/400xF/ gas mark 6.

T Using a wooden spoon, mix together the lamb, tomato puree and Worcestershire sauce in a bowl. Season the mixture with salt and pepper.

T Take the egg and crack it into the mixing bowl. Try to make sure that no egg shell falls into the bowl.

T Tear the bread into small pieces.
