Misleading staff files

I find it worrying that Eleasha Bonsor wants to keep files on staff which would include the most subjective information. Who will decide if a person's conduct is appropriate? How would you measure reliability? It would appear that Ms Bonsor wants these files on staff as a backlash to having been reported to Ofsted by a disgruntled member of her staff.

I once worked for a local authority that kept illegal files on staff. The content was misleading, to say the least. The debate should be, does the badly run nursery produce poor standards in its staff? Who sets the standards - the manager or the staff?
